I love your books but I was wondering where you get your story lines and at what age where you when you knew you wanted to be a writer?

I’ve been inspired in different ways for different books. Dreams, conversations, something I've seen, even had a book idea hit me after listening to a church sermon. Alice in Zombieland came about from a passage of scripture: (paraphrasing) our battle is not against flesh and blood but against evil spirits. Lords of the Underworld came about because I thought it would be cool for an immortal warrior to be killed only to awaken the next morning know he had to die again.
With the Original Heartbreakers series, I wanted to write about sexy bad boys with traumatic pasts who have the same brotherly bond found in my Lords of the Underworld series -- and yet, I wanted these men to be ones I could truly meet. I wanted to write sassy Southern belles (kinda like the girls in my life) and a quirky small town I wished I lived. I wanted dark and gritty but also sexy and witty. I wanted my cake and I wanted to eat it too LOL
A grain of an idea gets me excited, and then I play connect the dots (asking myself why and how) and the story grows from there!

This question is from son and myself. We loved the Intertwine series and was hoping that there would be a fourth book b/c we felt like the end of the 3rd book kinda left us hanging. We are both BIG fans of your books. So we were just wondering if there would be a 4th book to that series?
