The idea for A Beauty So Rare came straight from history. History found at the Belmont Mansion in Nashville, Tennessee, not far from where I live. The first time I stepped foot in the Belmont Mansion in 2004, I knew I wanted to write about the people who lived there and the events that happened during the late nineteenth century. Here's a two minute glimpse into what inspired me to write A Beauty So Rare: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVV1E...

I am currently reading To Whisper Her Name & have this nagging feeling that one of your Colorado characters visited either Belle Meade or Belmont as part of their story, perhaps Elizabeth from Timber Ridge? However, I read it back in 2014 and maybe my memory is just playing tricks on me. Did one of your Colorado characters visit one of the Southern plantations about which you later authored a trilogy?
