How do you get inspired to write?

J.P. Paradise Not sure inspired is the word. Often one has to force oneself to write because it so much easier not to. Now and then an ideal will emerge and I find I have to do something with it otherwise it will be lost.

I enjoy little writing challenges. I belong to a couple of local writing groups and we set ourselves homework each month. These exercises can trigger flashes of inspiration. Many of the stories on my website are a result of these homeworks.
