Gavin McKeever
Gavin McKeever asked D.J. MacHale:

I have recently began reading the book The Talisman by Stephen King and Peter Straub and noticed certain similarities. Did The Talisman have any influence on the Pendragon series?

D.J. MacHale Not that I'm aware of.

What books are on your summer reading list this year?

A Goodreads user asked D.J. MacHale:

I can't remember if this was ever answered but in The Rivers of Zaada (i think) Saint Dane stabs Loor (its been some time since i've read it) and she does not die. It seems every traveler does not die when another traveler directly hurts them but they die when something indirectly kills them like the poison with Spaders father. My question is can travelers not kill other travelers?

Matthew Checrallah
Matthew Checrallah asked D.J. MacHale:

Does your approach to writing differ depending on the medium you are writing for? For example, was your create process different when writing episodes for Are You Afraid of the Dark? vs. when you approached the Pendragon series?
