I am currently working on a few projects, so my head is spinning! I am working on a history of slavery & freedom in early Detroit. I also have a fiction project in mind related to that research. I am living in Montana this year with my family, and of course that experience has generated ideas for both historical and historical fiction projects, particularly related to environmental issues.

Just a note to let you know that if found the book, "The Dawn of Detroit" to be a real "eye-opener" for myself. I thourghly enjoy non-fiction American History, the battles of our "greed" to expand "our" teritories, and non-fiction world history of Exploration. Your book was truly a change from what I was expecting on the development of historic Detroit, expanding my knowledge of slavery and attainment. Thank you?
