Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Tracey-anne McCartney I love folklore, science, nature and the mystical side of life. I would often research these areas in my spare time. My imagination would visually carry me away to beautiful, unusual places where I'd meet characters with lives so very different to my own. It's something I've always done, but didn't know why. One day, I decided to sit down and try to capture this amazing world, and now I'm able to share 'A Carpet of Purple Flowers' with you. :o)

This book actually grew from another story, The Butterfly Bridge. It's quite a large tale revolving around love and Vororbla (karma), but told in three different eras. I decided the best way to approach it's telling would be to write several books. Crazy huh? :o)
Basically, I separated the overall story into a trilogy, and 'A Butterfly Bridge' will be a standalone book, a pre-history, connecting to the trilogy.
