Lois McMaster Bujold:
Hello Lois! I am always confused about whether I should look for your books under "McMaster" or under "Bujold" in local stores. Can you elucidate what your "surname" is? Thanks!
Lois McMaster Bujold
Ah, good question to get clarified.
The surname is "Bujold", and my books should be listed under the Bs.
McMaster is my maiden name, which I use as my middle name. So there should be no hyphens, either. Both stores and libraries, as well as readers, sometimes get confused about this, unfortunately.
(I sometimes wish, as I am sitting there writing my tripartite name over and over at book signings, that I had gone with the shorter "Lois McMaster" as my writing name, but it is too late now to change. At least Bujold appears higher in any alphabetic list, which can't hurt for visibility.)

It is repeatedly mentioned in the books that there are sixty Counts, but by my count (no pun intended) only two dozen or so are named so far. Do you have in your head a full list of the Vor family names? Also, are there any Vor families that don't have a Countship, i.e., that became Vor after the formation of the Council of Counts? And what about the terraforming of South Continent? Will new Districts be added?

I wish I could read Flowers of Vashnoi in print. I wasn't fast enough to get the limited edition from Subterranean Press. Is there any likelihood of getting this novella in print in some other way, like a compilation with something else? I may have to break down and figure out how to download the ebook, but I don't really like those.
