Goodreads asked Lisa M. Collins:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Lisa M. Collins When I have writer's block I read. Reading just for pleasure is my real get-away. So often, as a writer, I get in the habit of reading for research or editing, and at some point I just have to stop. I may read 4-5 novels one right after the other like potato chips. I read until all I can think about is the story I'm writing and then I get back to work. I guess you could say reading is my stress valve.
