I enjoyed writing UNDER THE ALMOND TREES so much, that I'm now working on ALOHA SPIRIT. This one is about my husband's grandmother. She grew up in territorial Hawaii, coming to the mainland after Pearl Harbor was bombed. I'm enjoying writing historical fiction, and currently examining more women in my family tree that I'd like to write about!
