Julie asked Lauren Rowe:

Yourself, Victoria Ashley (This Regret), Nicole Edwards (Alluring Indulgence) ...have playlists; His & Her views; Pinterest pages...Many authors are trending these great ideas. Is it Coincidence or gained in your research?

Lauren Rowe I can honestly say on a stack of bibles this is pure coincidence, at least on my part. I must admit I am shockingly not well read in my genre. I have been writing furiously, not reading so much, and these are the first books I've ever written in romance/erotica, so I didn't know what's "hot" and what's "not" when I wrote The Club Trilogy. I wrote what I wanted to read. And for me, I'm personally very interested to know both sides' POV of a romance, and especially the man's POV. Writing Jonas was so freaking fun, OMG, just addicting. :-)

The playlist thing is because I am a singer/songwriter and in a band myself, so music is extremely important to me. I'd previously written a YA book where I wrote and produced an entire soundtrack (which no one read, LOL), and so writing a book where I just referenced already existing music seemed like a walk in the park!!! So, if that's a trend, and a cool thing to do, then Coolio Iglesias, but I didn't know it when I did it in The Club. I was just making the soundtrack for the movie playing in my head. :-)

Now, as far as Pinterest, I can honestly say I'm not on it, never have been, don't really know what it is. I am just that lame, it's true! So if that's something cool to do, then I'd better get on that. :-)

Thank you for your awesome questions.
