This isn't a question, but I finished reading both Dear Mr. Knightley and Lizzy and Jane, and I can hardly wait until November to read the Bronte Plot! I do have to ask though, since you are an avid Austen fan (at least I caught that vibe from your book. haha), if you could choose a character you were most like from Pride and Prejudice who would it be?

Wow, tough question. I'm not sure I fit in P&P. Lizzy is too bright and sparkly, for me but I'd love to be her! Jane too good. Mary... Well... and Kitty & Lydia, not a chance. Charlotte, too pragmatic. And all the other ladies... Perhaps I'd be Darcy. ...
Pondering, I think I'm probably most Elinor Dashwood for Sense & Sensibility. Romantic yet pragmatic, loyal sister, daughter and friend, never loses hope and so cherishes her happy ending. There... That makes me sound very good. :)

At first I thought The Bronte Plot no more than a Hallmark romance movie with a literary twist. However, the deeper I got into it, the deeper it got. I saw in it the way we deceive, not just for our own advantage, but because we want please others and make their time with us more enjoyable. Instead we cheat them and ourselves out of an authentic life. Don't stories both enlighten and deceive?
