Hi Shelly, I was one of the students who came to see you on May 2, 2015. I have never read one of your books, so can you tell me if there is any violence in any of your books? I actually ask because I like violence but only in books, not in real life.

Shelley Pearsall Thanks for your question, Alyssa! I generally try to keep violence to a minimum in my books, but if you are looking for suspense and tension, I'd suggest my book, Crooked River, which is about a murder trial on the frontier.
