I just got to know about your book - The Remnants - from Giveaway section of Goodreads and it surely looks interesting. I want to ask - who or what was the inspiration behind the book? Also, what other books on Holocaust would you recommend to your readers?

The inspiration behind the book was reading about the Lebensborn program, which is not very well known. If you weren't aware, the program happened during WWII when almost 200,000 Czech and Polish children were kidnapped and taken to be "Germanized." It just caught me off guard to think about how weird the world would be if the Nazis had won.
And as far as Holocaust books...man, that's a toughie as there are SO MANY good ones. Off the top of my head: Night by Elie Wiesel, Auschwitz and After by Charlotte Delbo, Milkweed by Jerry Spinelli, Annexed by Sharon Dogar, Kitty Hart's novel, Lilac Girls, If/Then/Now series.
