There are times when I can't see past my nose when writing. Most often, my solution is to put on music and stress my characters. I find they do their own work when they are challenged. When my characters refuse to cooperate, I typical attempt to kill them. If they're smart, they'll dodge me, if not, I can always create a new character to fall in love with. The challenge is when they outsmart me and I want them dead!
