Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Martin Treanor The idea for Dark Creed came about when I was reading a non-fiction book about the Manson Family.
The power of the cult is strong - and no rational discussion can sway someone who has taken the leader's lies and manipulations hook line and sinker. The devotee essentially gives away their whole identity - which makes for a great premise.
It was dark writing at some times - and scary, but I think the story came out well in the end.
