Good Day Mr Reynard, I have been wondering if you knew you were going to write another series after Gabriel's Redemption, the way you introduced The Prince was absolutely brilliant. Why did you decide to go this route? I don't believe I've ever read a second series that follows the first series with a totally different POV/ story. Thank you so much for sharing your gift. Lanette

The Florentine Series has been in the works for some time. In fact, I started thinking and writing about it a few years ago.
But in my mind, The Gabriel Series and The Florentine Series are connected. Gabriel and Julia appear in both, for example. Both series are set in Florence to some extent. Both series introduce the reader to Florentine history and art.
Perhaps part of what I was thinking is that the supernatural (paranormal) lurks beneath the natural in unexpected ways. For example, you can read "Gabriel's Redemption" and not see any hint of the supernatural. But once you read "The Prince," you realize that there were supernatural elements in "Redemption" - that you may have missed.

Hello, Mr. Reynard. This is not a question about the books or writting per se, but I just wanted to tell you that after I finished Gabriel's Inefrno I was listening to music and found Hozier's Work Song strangelly suitable for Gabriel. Do you think Gabriel would find it fitting as well? P.S.: Thank you for all the references to great songs and bands I didn't know anything about :)
