I absolutely love your Riyria Revelation series!!! It has been a big inspiration to me, and I started getting myself to write stories now! I was curious if you ever read stories that other aspiring writers have written, and give advice?

Hey WyvernRider, thanks for writing. I do hear this comment often (that people are inspired to write their own books after seeing what I've done) and it is very rewarding to help unlock that "inner writer" in others.
Reading a full book just isn't possible (I'm a slow reader) but I have been doing something callled "The First Five Pages" where people can submit a small amount of their work and each month I choose a few pieces to critique and send back. Full instructions on how to submit are here.
But there is another opportunity that I should mention. I'm currently running a Kicstarter for my next novel, The Death of Dulgath and my plan is to include a short story from some new or aspiring author with that. As part of that process, there will be contest where people can submit short stories to me, I'll critique the query letters they write, and if I read the story, I'll also critique it as well. One winner will be included with my book, earn up to $750, and have the short story edited by myself, my wife, and two professional copyeditors. If you would like to learn more about that, you can learn more here . Scroll down to the bottom to the "Helping Authors" section.
Thanks, and I hope you can take advantage of some of these helpful resources.

I only recently discovered your work, and I must admit that this is the most attached I've ever become to characters. With that said, I recently read on your website regarding the 3rd book in Riyria Chronilces, is this a sequel to the Heir of Novron? Thank you for your time.

You have said in the past you write the entirety of a book series before you even publish the first book and that this lets you go back and add things in easier if you think of something great later. The question is, what is the latest you have gotten in writing a series when you had a brainstorm and had to go back and add something that ended up changing a lot in the series itself?
