Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Alice Valdal My most recent published book is "The Man Who Loved Christmas." This collection of stories grew from my website. The title story is based on a personal experience in my family that I wanted very much to share. I told it in a fairy-tale style because that made it both personal and universal. The other stories, I wrote for readers of my newsletter, one each year as a Christmas gift.
