Of the characters in your books, who is you favorite to write dialogue for? Brasti seems to have the best "one liners" but some of the flourishes you add to Falcio's descriptions are pure hilarity. Thanks for making a fun and exciting series. Nice to see an adventure series with a sense of fun to balance out the darkness.

It actually changes with each book. In Traitor's Blade I found I most enjoyed writing Falcio's dialogue, whereas in Knight's Shadow it's often Brasti whose words I found most compelling. So far in book 3 Kest has some of the best lines. All that said, I actually think I take the most satisfaction from writing the dialogue of other characters who are challenging Falcio. It's nice to see him lost for words once in a while!

To say I got a bit obsessed with your books could well be a bit of an understatement - stumbled upon Traitor's Blade a month ago and now have torn through the entire Greatcoat and Spellslinger series. Is it strange to thank you for giving me self induced sleep deprivation cos I kept reading way past bedtime? Will we ever find out what's going to happen with Kellen's shadowblack, now we know how it came about?

I finished Spellslinger a couple of days ago and I absolutely loved it! The magic, the action and all the characters were awesome (after all, it's not every day you get to read about a talking squirrel cat). My question: Pretend you are a powerful Jan'Tep mage, but for some reason you can only spark a single band. If the choice was yours, which would you choose (including shadow) and why? Thank you!
