I love to read, so if I have an idea I like to try and read every book I can that is similar, both for inspiration and to ensure that I am not duplicating something that has already been done. Though no idea is wholly original, it sucks to come up with a great scene or character arc, only to discover it already exists. *I KNOW THIS FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE!!!!* *sigh*
