First of all, this is quite common and the creative process sometimes needs recharging, so I accept the need to be patient with myself. But it's important to remember that fictional writing allows us to journey into our own minds away from our current realities, so I remind myself each time I write to appreciate the world I'm entering and developing that is all mine. This mind-set limits writer's block for me.
