I was not planning on writing my new book Sunrises to Santiago but after 30 days of hiking through the northern part of Spain on the Camino de Santiago I found the experience had profoundly changed my outlook on life. I was searching for purpose, using travel and adventure as a reset button for my own life. The answers did not come to me in the way I thought they would. It was the people from all over the world that I met along the trail, that inspired me to incorporate their lessons into a book. I feel like so many people can get something from this trek. That is why I decided to write it all down.
