Goodreads asked Coyla Coblentz:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Coyla Coblentz In my experiences, writer's block isn't about not knowing what to write. It's the fear that you won't be able to write what needs to be written. Every writer feels inadequate at times, probably more often than not. To find the courage to write what you feel may end up being sloppy, ham-fisted buffoonery, write in secret at first, for yourself only. You may discover that your writing isn't quite the claptrap you feared it would be. It may also be more true to *you* than the flowery prose of a show off who writes the first draft with an audience in mind.
