I have a great answer to this one! I was in a small town in Connecticut, on something called the Hop River Trail, by myself on cross country skis. I was just letting my mind wander and had one of those wonderful moments where one thought leads to another. First I had the setting for the story, which is not what usually comes first. After a few days of noodling the story emerged.

This isnt a question as much as we just finished readnig the eye of the warlock and thoroughly enjoyed it, but most specifically because there was nothing inappropriate that we wouldnt want our preteens to read. granted most of society doesnt care about that, and it is so hard to find acceptable books for our children, i want to thank you for making this one and it was not only acceptable, but thoroughly enjoyable?
