Do you find inspiration from books in your store? I grew up and worked in family run bookstores and can recall certain books as if they were part of my family. Also, like me, do you collect more books than you sell?

Amy Stewart Hi! Yes, absolutely--in the case of Girl Waits with Gun, I have so many old books from the 1910s and 1920s that I use for reference, or just because I imagine they are the kinds of books that the Kopp sisters might have read--I have shelves of them. But I have to say, since Eureka Books is rather vast and holds up to 50,000 titles at a time, we sell far more books than we collect--we'd be in big trouble otherwise!

Thanks for responding. I recently started selling my collections with the help of a friend by starting an Ebay Store called "Vintage Reads and Items". Check it out when you get a chance or need to do some mindless task to get out of a case of writers block. I'll be looking thru your store also. I also use books from the early 1800s to 1900s for dialect of characters, phrases fro different eras. Do you also do this?
