When did your love of Austen start? I didn't grow up reading Austen's novels, but my mother and my sisters and I loved all the period films based on her books and in college I ended up reading some Austen, so at this point, she's family! :)

Oh... You are basically asking me to age myself. :) I started reading Austen in probably the 8th grade because my mother told me I'd love them. And I'd been truculent about The Scarlet Pimpernel. So when I finally gave in on that one and then regretted waiting so long -- and being rude about it -- I picked up P&P immediately. That was before any of the movies and, when those starting rolling out, I adored each and every one. Austen really was, for me, part of those special formative books you read in your early teen years.... and I've been returning to them ever since. Thanks for asking!

Thanks for writing clean literature that's engaging. I'm a huge Daddy Long Legs fan so I wasn't sure about DMK but you made it your own story which I loved. Do you have a favorite author? I'm glad I found you because I have a hard time reading newer novels due to iffy content and a shallowness in many of them (merely in my opinion). I'm probably too old school for a 20-year-old, but I do enjoy the feel of your books.

Hi Katherine! So glad to see you here. Thanks for the ARC. What a wonderful story. Just when I think you can't write a better story, you do! I'm excited for October (I guess my Kathryn knows what she will be getting for her birthday!) I love the theme of the next book. Are you able to let us know the setting?
