Usually I work on something else completely different for a while, then the words begin to flow again.
The interesting thing about each of the children's books is that they all started with a fairly solid week of writing, in which half the book was written - it just flowed. Then for some reason things dried up for a while, but the second half of each book came in a similar burst.
