Hi Heather!
The men Lucia and her friends date are based on people I have dated or my friends dated a few times but I don't associate with them anymore. Hopefully, they will read it and maybe see the error of their ways.
I'm writing another book and a couple of characters in that one is based on several people I know. I think they will realize maybe the character's journey/story is similar to theirs and I don't think they will mind. I think, they will think it's funny. As long as I don't say their name for other people to know, they don't mind.
