Liebe Leah,
ich habe spät angefangen - mit 28! Weil ich als Illustratorin andere Geschichten als die wollte, die die Verlage mir schickten. Erste Schritte.....ich hab ein Buch geschrieben. Und viele Male umgeschrieben. Und dann an vier Verlage geschickt (was die gar nicht gern haben) einer hat nein, die anderen haben Ja gesagt, und dann hat der mit dem Nein es sich nochmal überlegt, als er von den anderen hörte. Ich hab mir einen Verlag ausgesucht und...das war's. Mein einziger Rat ist, dass du selbst deine strengste Lektorin bist, dir deine Geschichte so lange laut vorliest, bis dir jeder Satz gefällt, sie mit Geduld und Zeit und Zeit und Geduld fütterst und mit allem, wad du über dich selbst und die Welt weisst - oder wissen willst.

Hi Cornelia, I was just wondering, have you ever considered trying to turn Inkheart into a German movie? I myself am not German, but I am learning it at school and I love Germany. Could that ever be a possibility? I must say that I thoroughly love the Inkworld series and I've read it at least once every year for 6 years (I bought it when I was 10). I just think that would be really cool. Thank you!! Natalie

In your answer to a previous question about story elements you drew inspiration for from real-life things you said that "a fire eater in a market place" was one of them for Inkheart. In several different parts in Inkspell Fenoglio says he bases his characters off of real people (namely Mo). So, what I'm wondering is, who did he base Dustfinger off of, if anyone? And did that fire-eater you saw look like Dustfinger?

Hello, I'm a huge fan of your work and unlike most other people here, the Mirrorworld series is my favorite :) I just wanted to ask tweo things about book 4: 1. Is there going to be more 'screen time' for Jacob and Fox in book 4? They are my favorite characters and I felt quite sad when they weren't that much in the Golden Yarn compared to the other parts. 2. How is the writing on book 4 go?
