As a Journalist I was bound to publish rock-solid, absolute truths (so my editors would not get sued) had to remain un-biased and objective. In other words I had to edit myself as my point of view needed to be perfectly balanced.

Being a writer of fiction was as though I was suddenly (after being harnessed) a free filly with a wide open field in front of it and could tap into the precious gift of unlimited imagination...
