Let me state that I love all your Eve Duncan books. I have read every one. My question is " How hard is it to kill off a character that has been an important part of the lives of the other characters, do you mourn for that character? I know it's a weird question, but I really miss reading about them when they are no longer part of the story line. Like Eve's adopted daughter's fiancé. I enjoyed their love story.

Iris Johansen Do I feel sad at the death of a character? I'm a complete marshmallow. I sit there and sob at the computer. It doesn't even take a death. Sometimes I'm just touched by an experience the character is going through. They are real people to me.
