How do deadlines for writers work? Is there a specific amount of writing you are asked to do by your publisher or do you write anytime you want and turn in your work after?

The publisher and the writer agree on a deadline when you sign a contract for a book. Usually the writer has one year, but sometimes it's more and sometimes less.

Have you seen any of the MANY web series made for your books? What do you think about them? And the web series are all great, but have you also read the countless fanfictions created? There are a bunch of amazing fanfictions, about EVERY possible scenario... and a lot of ships like Jason+Percy, KRONOS+Percy, Clarisse+Percy, and pretty much every character with Percy. Your opinion?
