Goodreads asked Kimberly Keyes:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Kimberly Keyes I learned a long while ago that when I hit a road block in my writing, it's because I've made a previous wrong turn. Much as I hate it, when this happens, (as in I can't imagine the next scene, or can but can't write it) I work backwards (in my head and/or literally in my work-in-progress) until I find the scene that needs to be re-imagined, and go from there.
I also tend to have two WIPs going at a time, to give my brain time to germinate on what's next without losing writing time.
