I've read most of your books and I am wondering: has your life as an adult been filled with many of the type of wacky, dangerous, hilarious adventures Jack and Joey have entertained us with all these years?

Jack Gantos Funny you should ask. The answer is yes. I live right downtown in Boston. I spend most of my hours in the library. You would think I lead a sedentary life. But as I walk to and from the library I see all kinds of mayhem that is interesting to write about. I think everyone must lead a wild and crazy life because they sure act that way!
