How do you get inspired to write?

Rayna L. Stiner I was told when I was young I should journal, so I gave it shot. I did it out of a need to obey, but what I found was a world of non-judgement where I could reflect on the things happening around in me, in my home, in my schools, in my church. I could digest relationships and most of all, I could decide what was truth and what was a pack of lies. And I could channel truths not taught to me. So, out of the safety of the journal grew a love for the craft of writing and understanding of people. After journaling came world-building and then story-telling. And I was hooked!
