Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Paul Barrett The idea for Whisper of Death came during a game of Rolemaster when a group of us were talking about Necromancers, and how difficult it must be for them to get a date (our gaming group had some weird conversations). I started considering what a Necromancer would have to do to impress a girl. It started as a short story where Erick agrees to kill a vampire if he can court one of the girls in the town. From there it just sort of developed.
