How do you get inspired to write?

Stephanie Steele Things that inspire me to write are: meeting new people! Whether they are great people, funny people, or just weird- I love observing and noticing interesting things about the other people we share this world with. A good jog in the morning always inspires me, and mostly, music inspires me. When I was writing my last novel there was a particularly emotional scene that I had to write and I listened to the same song over and over because it put me into the characters head. Music can create miracles.
