How do you get inspired to write?

Zen Larsson I get inspired to write most commonly through music. Music (of what ever is currently suiting my ears) is almost always playing and invariably I create stories that go with the music. Sometimes the music adds to what I'm currently writing or inspires me to write something new, which is where I've gotten a lot of my short story ideas from.
