How do you get inspired to write?

Norman Revill I collect ideas from everywhere - magazines, movies,books, things I see and hear around me, past experiences - and store them away in notebooks. Ideas turn me on. An idea in a book bought from a charity shop on holiday in Cornwall, became my first screenplay. Finding a four-leafed-clover on the field at a re-enactment of the Battle of Barnet, led to my interest in charismatic King Edward IV and the bloody Wars of the roses.
