Tempted By A Soldier is the second of my Covenant Falls series. It follows "A Soldier's Promise," which was inspired by a story in the New York Times about military dogs who suffer from PTSD. That led me to stories about the bonds between these dogs and their handlers. Which, of course, led to something else. A veteran with PTSD adopts his fallen friend's military dog which also has PTSD.. They heal each other with the help of a big hearted small town in Colorado and its lady mayor.
"Tempted.A Soldier" features another veteran who heads to Covenant Falls to find his way, this time with the help of a rescued Pit Bull.
