Good morning on this sunny Sunday.Thank you for your answer,I will contact Martin? 1st novel was an historical Romance set at the turn of the nineteenth century.That was published by a vanity publisher at a reasonable price.This was produced as an eread. I was lucky in finding a traditional publisher with no agent for The Liberty Bodice my 2nd novel is published as an eread and paperback Best wishes Joy.

I think you'll find Martin a good example of a successful crime-fiction writer and a good model to follow. I reviewed on Amazon (a while ago) his novel based on the Crippen case, 'Dancing for the Hangman'. Again, not a stereotypical 'crime story'. But I've also read a couple of his 'police procedurals'; one set in Liverpool, the other in the Lake District.

It is exactly the idea of a novel I have wanted to read but not found before. Will you update on here the progress of this novel?
