I absolutely adore your books! I am interested in knowing what is your favorite thing about being a published author and your least favorite thing about it?:)
Melanie Dickerson
Hi, Marklessgirl! :-) My favorite things are writing, plotting, and editing/revising. Yes, I even love editing and revising! I also love seeing my book covers for the first time! That is always a rush. :-) My least favorite thing is having to juggle all the writing and editing with marketing duties. It's really hard to stop writing in order to do blog interviews and that sort of thing. I enjoy interacting with people on social media, but the mixing and balancing it with writing, especially when I'm on a tight schedule and a near deadline, is really hard. But don't feel too sorry for me! (Ha!) I am doing the job/career I always wanted, and I love it. :-)

Hi Melanie, I just wanted to send out a HUGE THANK YOU! You showed me that clean historical romance really can be done--and that people really want to read it! Thanks to your example, I just published my first book in September! I recall reading in one of your answers below that people said your books would never get published. Where did you look for inspiration to prove them wrong?
