Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Richard Heby The idea for my YA short read Slate (www.amazon.com/dp/B01560PFWQ) came to me in a dream. I was climbing down a very slippery mountain eating a weird combination of food. It was an odd, somewhat disturbing dream. After that, I just layered in some dystopian ideas I've compiled through other writings and worlds I've created.
