Evelyn
Evelyn asked Alessandra Torre:

Before the Innocence series, were you always a writer? Or did you get inspired to transition from reader to writer one day?

Alessandra Torre I was never a writer, always a reader. Then I read On Writing by Stephen King. It is an incredible resource and really broke 'how to write' down into a concept that seemed feasible. I had recently read an article on self-publishing and thought 'hey. maybe I could try this!'.

Blindfolded Innocence was the first thing I ever wrote that was longer than a book report. I wrote it within six weeks of finishing On Writing by Stephen King. :)
