So I'm back again with another question! I'm sorry (& grateful <3) but there's just one tiny thing I want to know.I'm sure since you're such a terrific writer, you must be an avid reader.I know it's weird, but do/did you feel protective about a book you closely connected with and wished to keep it only for yourselves, feeling as if sharing it was the end of all things ?
Cornelia Funke
No, I never felt like that Delvka! I usually can't wait to hear my readers' footsteps in the worlds I create. But maybe it is different for writers who write very autobiographical material. My stories are of course inspired by my life - as all stories are mirrors of their writers - but they are also about everyone and therefore written for everyone.

Hello, I'm a huge fan of your work and unlike most other people here, the Mirrorworld series is my favorite :) I just wanted to ask tweo things about book 4: 1. Is there going to be more 'screen time' for Jacob and Fox in book 4? They are my favorite characters and I felt quite sad when they weren't that much in the Golden Yarn compared to the other parts. 2. How is the writing on book 4 go?

Cornelia, I have a question about your books in the Inkheart series. My name is Hannah, and I read all of the Inkheart series and I loved them, I just wanted to know, how do you do it. Make just lovely stories. Every time I read a page I imangined I was with Meggie and Mo. It was so lifelike. Other than perfectly wording it how do you do that? I want to be a writer someday so it is helpful. Though I'm 13.

Dear Cornelia, I loved your books a lot, I must say they inspired me from times to times! Thank you for creating such beautiful world. You also put some quotes from other books into your stories, and it's brilliant. I wonder do you have any specific books or specific authors that you like most?
