Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Sophia Martin I actually have about five ideas going right now. I've been working on the third book in my dystopian trilogy, but I don't want to do that one for NaNo because it's not the kind of book I feel I can rush to produce and then rework later--it's much more of a careful-as-you-go book to write. So for NaNo I have to decide which of the rest of the ideas to pursue. I've got some for the next Veronica book as well as some completely new ones. I get my ideas from current events for the Veronica books, usually, and then anything that inspires, angers, or fascinates me tends to find its way into all of my writing.
