So you write scary stories, but you don't look very scary to me :) What is the story behind the duck in your profile picture?

Christopher Golden I so wish it was something more colorful than this, but many years ago, I think when I was doing so many Buffy the Vampire Slayer novels, a guy came up to me at a signing and handed me the duck. He wanted to take my picture with it. For whatever reason, it became a thing, and somehow the photo ended up on my Wiki page at some point, and has been carried on from there. It's certainly not my author photo of choice, but it is pretty amusing.
