Ivett Gombos
Ivett Gombos asked Darren Shan:

Hey, Mr. Shan! Bush and Blair... Their names does not fit in TheThin Executener's world. Where did they come from?

Darren Shan Heh heh! I think you know EXACTLY who masters Bush and Blair were named after!!! :-) I wrote The Thin Executioner back around the time when the UK and USA decided to invade Iraq for no justifiable reason, topple an elected leader, and throw a country and region into chaos. There are lots of bad leaders in the world (I think Bush and Blair were two of them) but that doesn't mean anyone else has a right to invade their countries and depose them. If they did, the world would be in a constant state of war. If they pose a genuine threat to neighbouring countries (which Iraq didn't), or if true atrocities are being committed (they were in Iraq to an extent, but no worse than in many other places, and far worse has happened there since), then yes, an intervention is occasionally merited. But this was despicable, and I felt the need to cast the two main antagonists as villains.
