Isaac Marion:
How do you try to separate your personal life from the life you have as published author? I mean, is there any kind of boundaries or no?
Isaac Marion
I don't put my home address out on the internet, but beyond that there isn't much need for separation. It's not like I have mobs of fans chasing me down the street. It's not like I get recognized in public. Being an author isn't like that unless you're HUGE. I mean, Suzanne Collins is one of the biggest authors in the world and I don't know if I've ever seen her face.
So there's no need for separation in the security sense, if that's what you meant, but I suppose I do hold back a little on actively revealing my personal life. I'll freely post about my thoughts and activities if there's something funny or interesting about them but I don't talk about "real shit," at least not with any specifics. I like interacting with readers and inviting them into my experiences as much as I can, but I stop short of letting them believe they're "in my life." That's when things get weird.
Of course this only applies to a certain outer layer of interaction, mostly online. If I meet and get to know you in person, that's a whole different thing, human and real. I'm really looking forward to this book tour.

Isaac Marion:
At this time, would you say there's a chance The Burning World, The Living, and/or The New Hunger might get adapted to film someday? Obviously the ending of Warm Bodies' movie being so different from the book's significantly tweaks things but I'm curious if you think it's something that's possible with that being said. Definitely not looking for any confirmation from you, just your thoughts on the subject.
