Hi Melanie! I love your books so much! I was just wondering, which book did you have the most fun writing and which book was the most challenging?

Melanie Dickerson Hi, Amanda! I think the most fun to write was The Princess Spy, simply because my heroine was just fun, and there were a lot of comical situations in that story. And I think the most challenging book was The Merchant's Daughter. It took me the longest, I did the most in-depth research on that one, and it was kind of wrenching, emotionally. But it's also possibly my favorite. :-)

Hi! I love your books they are amazing!!! Anyway, I know that you have said that the Medieval Fairy Tale series and Hagenheim series are, in fact, not related, but I was recently rereading The Golden Braid, and Gerek mentions Thornbeck multiple times. Is this the same Thornbeck from the Medieval series? Or just a coincidence?
